State-owned Janata Bank PLC has achieved a significant milestone, as its deposits have crossed Tk 1.25 lakh crore.
The achievement was celebrated on Tuesday (9 September) at the bank’s head office, where Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman and Managing Director Md Mazibur Rahman cut a cake along with senior executives and officials.
Deputy Managing Directors Md Golam Mortuza, Md Fayez Alam, Md Nazrul Islam, and Md Ashraful Alam, as well as the bank’s general managers and deputy general managers, attended the celebration. General managers of divisional offices, deputy general managers of area offices, and executives and managers of all branches joined the event online.

Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman expressed his gratitude to customers for their continued trust and support, even during the country’s challenging financial times.
Managing Director Md Mazibur Rahman credited the dedication and hard work of the bank’s officers and employees for its achievements. “As a result of the dedicated efforts and continuous hard work of all the officers and employees, Janata Bank has reached this desired milestone,” he said.
