Xiamen HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd has opened a new office in Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka, marking its entry into Bangladesh.
Founded in China, HiTHIUM specialises in grid-scale ESS, with more than 70 GWh of production capacity and advanced LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery technology. Its Bangladesh office will distribute and develop flagship solutions, including battery energy storage systems for industrial, commercial, and utility-scale use, as well as the HeroEE series of portable lithium-ion IPS systems for homes, offices, and small businesses.
“These systems are eco-friendly, noise-free, and can reduce oil consumption by up to 70% in industrial applications by providing reliable battery backup and reducing reliance on traditional diesel generators,” said Nazmul Islam, managing director of HiTHIUM Bangladesh. “We are excited to begin this journey in a country actively embracing energy transformation.”

HiTHIUM’s technology is designed to replace diesel generators, enable smart solar integration, and support sustainable infrastructure by delivering energy on demand, reducing emissions, and lowering operational costs. Globally, its solutions are deployed across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region, playing a role in reducing emissions, lowering costs, and modernizing power systems.
The launch event in Dhaka was attended by HiTHIUM Bangladesh Director Ashraful Islam and senior representatives from HiTHIUM Global, including General Manager Ratel You, Production Manager Lin Ri, and Senior Sales Manager Raity Wang.
